It is kind of black pilling to know MFers have been hoping to take modernity behind the woodshed since that shit started. I have faith in the short term that some of the ethnic/racial problems will get figured out; if only because humans aren't built for diversity. But the other problems everyone associates with modernity will be here to stay, or if not, will be replaced by other challenges. No end to politics until the real eschaton.
I also knew that there was something like a cyclical view of history among some on the Right prior to Spengler; but I didn't realize it had such theological and esoteric origins. Very interesting, thanks.
